ROTARY BARREL GALVANIZING FOR SMALL PARTS
Rotary barrel galvanizing, compared to static galvanizing, is much more suitable for small parts, which do not risk damage or entanglement when inserted into the machine, even if in a disorderly manner. This process is ideal for small parts, fittings, bolts, screws, etc.
The rotary barrel treatment is carried out by means of a machine that, by rotating, ensures that each component is uniformly galvanized, even inside it. This guarantees the long life and protection of your metal objects against the effect of atmospheric corrosion.

In fact, to achieve a result that meets your expectations, we strive to prepare your iron or steel items so that the zinc adheres to their surface as well as possible. Through a mixture of water and alkaline solution (or acid, depending on the desired effect), we remove any remaining particles of oil and grease, which may prevent a complete galvanizing. We then proceed to the following preliminary steps:
- Rinsing of the components, to remove any residue from the degreasing solutions;
- Pickling with hydrochloric, sulphuric or nitric acid, of varying duration depending on the degree of oxidation of the items to be treated;
- Cleaning with additional rinsing, so that an object with a surface free of any residue can be inserted into the rotary barrel.
