The MANGANESE PHOSPHATING treatment has developed from the need to find a treatment able to improve the parts anti-seize effect: it acts upon the surface characteristics of the material to facilitate sliding.

The manganese phosphating treatment is to be considered a technical treatment rather than an aesthetic one or just to improve corrosion resistance. The type of material used in the construction of the artefact is a very important factor as it is difficult for very hard materials to accept phosphate conversion. The superficial coating created with the phosphate layer helps to retain oils and lubricants, which are necessary for successful treatment and for corrosion resistance.

The ZINC PHOSPHATING treatment is primarily used for corrosion resistance and is excellent as a pre-painting treatment, as it helps to fix the paint.

Phosphating treatments alone have a short lifespan in terms of corrosion resistance, which is why, to ensure durability, additional applications of oils and waxes are necessary: the grains that the phosphate layers are made of are able to effectively absorb and retain these additional applications.

The phosphating plant was totally renovated in 2024, we wanted to expand it to be able to process even very bulky and heavy parts.

The vats sizes are 3000X700X1600(h) mm. With this processing line we are able to handle both static and rotary barrel processes.
